New Delhi: Delhi Collage of art in its eighteenth year has again, successfully accomplished a mesmerizing, art expedition to Paris, the City of Light. Under the guidance of their Principal Ashwani K Phrithviwasi, a group of thirty eight students and staff of Delhi Collage of Art, stepped their foot in Paris. The main aim of the trip was to inculcate the knowledge of visual arts among the students. DCA, this year has launched a new certified course named as ‘Art Appreciation’ which involves international art tour. According to the Ashwani K Phrithviwasi, Managing Director, Delhi Collage of Art, the students will get the opportunity to familiarize with the excellent work of accomplished masters through discussion and reports on world established art museums. The project has also assigned to the students in the tour, which will last till 06 th July. It aims at evolving out the fine artists in the society through history also familiarizing with the principle of art, appreciating and criticizing art, conceptualizing iconography, different art forms, placement and differentiation of symbols, themes, 2 or 3 dimensional art and spacing in paintings. Students and staff of Delhi Collage of art had a great learning experience and shared some beautiful memories during the tour. Looking at the original paintings of Masters work had made a note in their heart that it’s not easy to become a Master. This tour was a sublime experience for all students and staff said Ashwani Kumar Phrithviwasi.
